Vista on my MacBook Pro
Since day one I have wanted to run Vista on my new laptop. First I installed bootcamp and that worked with no problem but the fact that I had to reboot to get to the Vista system was a little annoying. I then decided what I wanted to do was run the Mac OS and Vista at the same time. I tried using Parallels but it would not use my Bootcamp partition so it was back to square one. After a little research I found a forum entry about a program called VMware Fusion beta, the entry was about which is better bootcamp or Parallels. The individual you posted the information was running Windows 2000 pro with VMware Fusion beta. I figured what the hell I’ll try it so I downloaded it and low and behold it loaded the partition with no input from me it was great. I have been using it for a week now and love it. In closing if you are thinking of running a Windows OS on your Intel Mac I recommend looking into VMware Fusion beta and one other piece of software that you have to look into is VirtueDesktops it gives you multiple desktops I love it.
