Leopard Delayed

Apple was to release its new operating system this June but they have moved it back to October. Some theories are that the IPhone and AppleTV are to blame for the delay, I have to wounder if it is true and will this hurt Apple's sales, when I posted this Apples stock was down. Will Apple's and Microsoft's focus on the media market hurt there operating systems and how fast updates are available. I would hate to see this happen, but will it open a door for Linux or other operating system. If you can remember how long Microsoft to release Vista, I wounder if some of the delays were caused by the development of the Vune.
